Vivint first partnered with the large-scale hunger relief organization Feed My Starving Children five years ago and during our most recent FMSC project we proudly packed our one millionth meal for the non-profit organization.

To allow them to deliver food to malnourished children all over the world, FMSC has developed a food mixture that is not only nutritious, but also easily transported and easily cooked with just boiling water. The food mixture is called a MannaPack and contains rice, soy nuggets, vitamins and minerals and dehydrated vegetables.

Over 850 Vivint employees, friends and family volunteered during the three-day FMSC project in August at Vivint headquarters in Provo, Utah. Volunteers packed 272,160 meals taking our total of meals packed in the last five years to over one million.

The food packed by Vivint volunteers will be sent to malnourished children with special needs in Cambodian schools and orphanages.
