“I was out of town and received an email that the temperature in my house was below the 15 degrees Celsius threshold that I had set. I went online to make sure that there was nothing wrong with the schedules and had a friend go to the house to check things out. I disarmed the alarm for her and had her check the electrical panel. Then, I phoned a repairman and she waited while he checked it out. Apparently, the fan blades had broken off and jammed the motor. The repairman said that it could have started a fire. I could have come home in two days to frozen pipes and/or a burnt down house. After they left, I went online to re-arm the system and check that the temperature in the house had come back up. Thank you Vivint for simplifying my life!”
