The Vivint Smart Home Team

We all know it’s true: employees work harder and better when they feel valued. This is a concept that Vivint understands. Since we claim to offer the best customer service in the industry, we know how important it is for our employees to enjoy their work and feel motivated to try their best.

In honor of Employee Spirit Month—which happens every March—here are just some of the things Vivint does for its employees to keep spirits high and offer the kind of glowing customer service that we strive for:

  • Free lunch—Nothing motivates like good free food. Every day Vivint employees can print off tickets and trot down to our cafeteria for a quick, convenient lunch of anything from burgers to sushi to fresh salad. It saves both time and money for everyone in the office.
  • Healthy lifestyle—Here at corporate, we enjoy a variety of benefits that encourage a healthy life. Our cafeteria provides healthy meal options every day, and our corporate headquarters has a complimentary onsite gym, volleyball court, and indoor basketball court for employee use. Vivint employees also receive insurance and health benefits in their employee benefits package.
  • Team building—Vivint workers know how to have fun, and our company has a reputation of working hard and playing hard. Vivint sponsors contests, team unity activities, and free giveaways of cool gift cards, new products like iPad minis, and free cruises. Individual departments are also encouraged to bond as a team by hosting activities and celebrating employees’ birthdays.
  • Service—Probably the best thing Vivint offers its employees is a chance to serve through our philanthropy program, Vivint Gives Back. The program has hosted service activities of all kinds: Sub for Santa, meal preparation for the Feed My Starving Children organization, construction projects through Habitat for Humanity, and even Humanitarian trips to Mexico, Guatemala, and Ghana. In 2012 alone, Vivint and its employees donated $1.7 million and over 23,000 service hours to people in need.

So there you have it. What kind of incentives do you find the most motivating at work?
