Vivint Families in Houston Find Ways to Serve their Community
Vivint sales representatives and field service technicians are known for knocking doors in the summer and giving back in their communities. What you might not know, however, is that their families find ways to serve in their temporary communities as well.
Vivint families in the Houston, Texas area recently found a number of ways to serve in their community. With the desire to help children in need, some of the Vivint families purchased items for children and adolescents entering the Texas foster care system. The volunteers then came together and organized 47 goodie bags that foster care workers can distribute to new children in the foster care system.
“The workers thanked us over and over and told us the bags would mean a lot to these kids who often come into their care with barely any personal possessions. We were so grateful to have the opportunity to give these kids something of their own,” volunteer Rachel Adkins said.
Other Vivint families in Houston deep cleaned a local church as a way of helping in their community.
