for over four years, vivint has partnered with the non-profit organization feed my starving children (fmsc) to provide meals to children in need all over the world.  fmsc specializes in meals that contain essential nutrients that can also be packed and shipped easily to help malnourished children. fmsc relies on volunteers to pack the meals, and vivint volunteers were grateful for the opportunity to help.

in august, volunteers at vivint’s headquarters partnered with fmsc for a big three-day service event. an impressive 775 vivint employees volunteered during the three-day period. volunteers packaged over 215,000 meals which will feed 595 children in need for an entire year. the meals were sent to the northwest haiti christian mission, an orphanage and school for children with special needs.

volunteer briana winegardner has volunteered with fmsc through vivint for the last few years and was happy to help again in august. said winegardner, “i love that in just a few hours we could have such an impact on hundreds of children who otherwise wouldn’t be able to eat and develop normally. i am so grateful that through vivint’s partnership with fmsc we can help children that would otherwise be malnourished.”
