restoring goodness to kansas city
Habitat Humanity’s ReStore doesn’t just provide building and home improvement materials to local communities. The funds raised at the ReStore are also used to fund other Habitat projects that provide safe homes to people in need.
The ReStore relies on volunteers to do tasks such as move and organize donated items in the store. And when the Kansas City ReStore was broken into recently, they needed a little more help than usual. Vivint volunteers were happy to pitch in.
Five Vivint field service technicians volunteered at the Kansas City ReStore and helped clean up the store after the break-in. Volunteers also helped move items around to make room for new donations that were coming in.
“Our team is really grateful for the opportunity to help others,” said volunteer and district supervisor Robert Lent. “We look forward to doing a service project every year.”
