Vivint one of PCWorld’s 100 Best Products of 2012
Every year PCWorld, one of the top names in tech trends, puts together a list of the 100 best products to come out or come of age that year. PCWorld’s editors choose the technologies they think made the biggest splash—and there’s a pretty rigorous process for what makes the cut.
This year we’re happy to announce that Vivint’s home security and home automation products were listed at number 53. And since products like the iPad Mini, Windows 8, the Kindle Paperwhite and others were also on the list, we feel like we’re in great company. Here’s what PCWorld had to say about us:
“The era of the smart home is dawning, and Vivint is one reason why: Sign a $69-per-month contract and you get a sophisticated home security and automation system (alarm, electronic door lock, door/window sensors, lighting controls, an IP camera, and a programmable thermostat) installed for just $199.”
What’s even more exciting is that while the list included many products for the home, Vivint placed number one on the list of the top five tech home products.
