using the vivint account center to simplify your life

At Vivint, we understand that your time is valuable, even more so during the holiday season. That’s why we’ve provided a few pointers to help simplify your experience with us.

Did you know that using the Vivint Account center, you can:

  • Add to, remove, or change your emergency contact list
  • Check your alarm’s event history
  • Get a Certificate of installation so that you can save on your homeowners insurance.

All you need to do is log on to your account.

Create your Vivint account

Don’t have a Vivint account yet? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Select “login” on, and click “Need an account.” You will need to enter your name, a valid email address, and a password that you would like to use for the account. Now click “sign up.”

Once you have clicked “sign up,” it will take you to a page where you need to enter your system ID (account number) and passcode (this is the personal password you use to arm and disarm your system). Now click “Submit.”

Add to, remove, or change your emergency contacts

From here you can access your online account. To find or change your emergency contacts, simply click “System” at the top of the menu. By clicking “Emergency Contacts,” you can update who you Vivint to contact in the event of an emergency.

Check your alarm history

By clicking on “Events,” you can access your system’s alarm history. This lets you to see what’s happening with your system.

Get a certificate of installation to save on your homeowners insurance

Great news: having a Vivint system installed in your home may entitle you  to savings on your homeowner’s insurance by sending in a certificate of installation. This certificate shows that you are a valued customer of Vivint and gives a brief explanation of the system installed in your home. Check with your insurance agent or broker to determine if you are eligible for a discount.

To get your certificate of installation, just click on the “resources” heading, then “insurance certificate” down below.
